Barbara traces her love of art to a class in art history while pursuing her nursing education. Art became a life-long passion. Her greatest influence has been  the impressionistic movement. 

 

 Barbara began to seek training as an artist even while working in the nursing profession. She has participated  in ongoing classes and multiple workshops which she continues to do. She discovered a joy in drawing with pencil that evolved into a passion for Pastels and Acrylics.  This gave her an opportunity to develop her unique style emphasizing both color and light. Her interpretation of her surroundings has resulted in expressive abstracts and delightful still lifes.

Barbara has many mentors to thank on her art journey who have been supportive, helpful and encouraging.   

 

Barbara exhibits  her work extensively around the greater Orlando area. She can be found working in her studio at 807 Virginia Dr Orlando where her work is also on display.
